The Dome Collection is a celebration of what first drew me to ceramics - working with clay on a spinning wheel. The tool I needed to make this collection didn't exist, so I built it from scratch. It took nine months to develop and refine the unique process shown here that is now at the heart of the collection.
My vision for the collection was to create a fresh take on a classic shape. The dome has been a familiar form in lighting for decades, but arranged in sculptural formats it takes on a whole new life. Presented with twenty-six unique finish options, this collection is truly unlike anything else.
Mobiles
Handmade porcelain domes balance one another on a series of cascading, arched arms. The sculptures can be made round or linear, with the arms optionally locked in position to maintain shape over a dining table or kitchen island.
Each mobile is custom designed for your space, with your specified number of domes sized 8-inches to 22-inches, and overall dimensions ranging from 3-feet to 12-feet.

Straight Pendants
A fresh take on a classic - my dome pendants are available in six sizes from 8-inch to 22-inches, and can be specified with any of our 21 porcelain glaze finishes. The leather cuff shown on the downrod is optional and can be specified at the length and material of your choice.
Rhythm
The Rhythm Series is the visual sibling to notes on a music sheet, striking on beat. These pieces can be made with any dome size and count, making them highly versatile and a great fit for many spaces. Only one junction box is required for each piece, despite having two downrods.
Sconces & Wall Sculptures
Available in four sizes from 8-inches to 14-inches diameter. The inner light "shield" can be specified as porcelain or metal, with the glaze color or patina finish of your choice. Sets are shown connected by finely braided metal cording and require just one junction box.
My sconces cast soft light forward from the inside the dome. They can also be made, by request, with an additional source that casts light onto the wall behind the dome creating a beautiful glowing halo effect.
Armature
The Armature series is characterized by rigid metal armatures that present the domes in unique and sculptural linear formats. Only one junction box is required for each piece, despite having two downrods.
Constellation
Inspired by a constellation, each porcelain dome is like a star in the night sky. When looking at the domes individually they appear random and disconnected - the eyes dance without coming to rest on a single focal point. But stepping back and viewing the sculpture as a whole, the arrangement comes together into something cohesive and beautiful.
Lillian Pendants
The Lillian Pendants display my handmade porcelain domes as both singles and sets. The unique feature of these sculptures is the bend of the downrod just above the dome.
The sculptures are inspired by the canopies of trees in a lush forest, tall and bare from the earth and then spreading wide and overlapping at their tallest height. The pendants can be arranged in round or linear format to your dimension specifications.
Swag Pendants
My handmade porcelain domes hang from sweeping, finely braided metal cording. Swag Pendants provide a beautiful aesthetic contrast to spaces defined by right angles and straight lines. Only one junction box is required for each sculpture.
Each set of Swag Pendants is custom designed by Ted Bradley to your specification. The sculptures can be made round or linear, and with your chosen number of domes ranging from 8-inches to 22-inches in any dimensions you like.
